FINISH01: Round Finishing Class February 23rd & 25th
We will finish a round ornament all the way from start to finish. This will be a no glue method and we will only focus on basic rounds. Ornaments must be 5x5 inches or smaller. You will need to bring a finished/stitched round canvas and backing fabric.

FINISH02: Square/Rectangle Finishing Class February 24th
We will finish a square/rectangle ornament all the way from start to finish. This will be a no glue method and we will only focus on squares/rectangles. Ornaments will need to be 5x5 inches or smaller. You will need to bring your finished/stitched canvas and backing material .

FINISH02: Weighted Gusset Stand Up February 24th
We will finish a weighted gusseted stand-up. Pieces should be smaller than 6x6 and square or rectangle. Students should be comfortable lacing round ornaments, making cording, and sewing cording on. Students need to bring the following: -backing fabric. Dupioni Silk, stretchy velvet, or quilting cotton recommended. Thick fabrics can be hard to sew through and should be avoided. -Gusset fabric or ribbon for the gusset- 1 yard minimum recommended. If using ribbon, they will want ribbon that is 1.5 inches wide. -Students should make cording ahead of time and bring it to class. Students will want to make double cording as one strand is needed for the front AND the back Lita will have a cording station set up in case students don’t have the required tools at home. -Students should lace the canvas around the front board ( ONLY THE FRONT) like they would for an ornament and bring it to class.

We will finish an irregularly shaped ornament from start to finish. Ornaments must be 5x5 inches or smaller. You will need to bring your finished/stitched ornament, backing fabric and 3 photocopies of your canvas. You should be comfortable making cording and sewing everything together.
